Hi. My name is Megan. I really don't like that name though, so please call me Riley, or Temperance, or Meggs. I'm 15, from Ohio.
You can ask me anything, and I will most likely answer you. I'm not really a typical teenager. I've been through alot and I've witnessed alot, more than I want to see or experience myself or would wish upon anyone else. I don't like labels. I like Names. If you want to know more you will have to ask.
Do you remember when we were young and we didn’t give a shit what people thought about us. When we didn’t even think that other people could be evil. When doing things like cartwheels and spinning in circles was fun. And it was enough too. Remember when we were just leaning to do something an we were awful at it but we showed it off to our friends cause we thought that we were like pros at it and they thought that what you were doing was the most fantastic thing in the world. Remember when we could have two twigs but be ruling a magical world. When reality really didn’t matter to us. Where drama was someone stealing your red crayon. Remember that. Remember when we thought that we would be friends forever and ever and nothing and no one could change that. Or how holding a boys hand was serious news. Or when we put on a princess dress how our lives were instantly perfect. Or when we thought we could pick out our own clothes and our parents let us and we looked ridiculous, but no one cared or even gave a damn. Remember when golden star stickers were the shit. Or when we thought that every bump or scrape needed a bandaid and not the icky brown ones the princess ones or the spongebob ones. And remember when it was worth getting up at the crack of dawn to watch cartoons. When we thought that magic was real and that animals could understand us. How we could be sitting in chairs but really we were on a rocket to the moon. Remember when the floor became lava or how if you let the ballon hit the floor you were in some serious trouble. I when we would get in serious trouble for saying heck or dang it or suck. Remember when you were happy and nothing could change that for more than ten minutes. When fights with our best friends lasted about five minutes. And then we were best friends again. Remember when you would get upset cause you couldn’t invite every one of your friends to your birthday party. Or when we could hold our best friends hand while we walked and it wasn’t weird. Or how boys had cooties. Or how girls could play baseball or basketball with the boys and not get picked on. Or how boys and girls could be friends with out anything going on between them. Or how chairs and blankets could make a fortress. And how we had to say good night to all of our stuffed animals and we would sleep on the edge of the bed so that all of the stuffed animals could be in bed with us because god forbid the feel left out. Remember a time before face book and cell phones and twitter where we could actually talk I each other. And when we would rather be playing out side with our friends than sit inside with our computer. Or when getting an email was like biggest deal ever. Remember when nothing was wrong with our world. And every one, no matter their skin color or how much they weighed or what they did or what they ate, was perfect and beautiful and our friends. Remember a time before our society fucked up our way of thinking……
Yeah I don either and my heart breaks every time I think that all these kids will grow up one day. It’s sad. Because when we were that age we couldn’t wait to grow up and be a teenage with the make up and the fancy clothes and the boys and the mall and high school and the cars. Well right now I would give anything to be a kid again.
I am a woman. I enjoy being in the kitchen. Mostly because it contains a multitude of objects that can be used to torture sexist douchebags in millions of creative ways. And it has cake.

it’s been twenty minutes since yahoo bought tumblr. the dashboard is starting to develop purple rashes. smiley emoticons are bubbling up on them like boils. the space where icons used to be is scratching off to reveal default yahoo answers icons. the tags are flaking off and a writhing mass of yahoo messenger is visible underneath. the yahoofluenza is spreading to my fingers as i type this. tumblr is over. humanity is over.
